Family Trips List

Before my youngest child turned 2 years old, hubby suggested that we come up with a 10-year-plan of family trips. At the time, I thought he was somewhat crazy. Traveling with a toddler, a 5-year-old, and a 7-year-old did not sound like a vacation. Just think about how hard a trip to the grocery store was! But he had a good point. If we waited until our youngest was older, we'd have far fewer years to show our eldest child the world. In retrospect, the positives have far outweighed the negatives (kind of like childbirth).

We've made numerous trips to Houston, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles to visit family. They are not included in the list below.

    1. Good suggestions. They are both on our list of things to see while living in Malaysia.

    1. Shirley, you must be a mind reader because I was just looking at hotels for Redang and figuring out flying versus driving.

  3. I'd love to hear about it if you make it to the Philippines - we're thinking about taking our kids this year, too!

  4. Ha, reading this list mine seems so insignificant in comparison :) though we do travel somewhere every year, sometimes two or three times a year (if we can). I laughed at "Traveling with a toddler, a 5-year-old, and a 7-year-old did not sound like a vacation." but also loved "If we waited until our youngest was older, we'd have far fewer years to show our eldest child the world." Keep writing about your travels and I'll keep reading :)
